CAMP DE JOUR DU PONT

Août 2021

Cette année, Le Pont a innové en proposant à ses familles une nouvelle activité estivale : un camp de jour ! 
Parfois difficilement accessibles à des familles nouvelles arrivantes, chers, complets ... les camps de jours peuvent vite être un casse-tête au Québec. Heureusement, grâce à la force des bénévoles, stagiaires et des dons disponibles, nous avons encore pu surpasser nos efforts et proposer à 10 jeunes (3 à 12 ans) une semaine d'activité.

Chandails personnalisés, jeux d'eau, chasse au trésor, décoration de pots de fleurs... On ne s'est pas ennuyé·e·s !  
Cette semaine a permis de renouer avec des familles qui étaient passées par Le Pont il y a plusieurs mois, voire plusieurs années. Les enfants ont bien grandi, parlent français, ont lié de nouvelles amitiés et les parents prennent le temps de discuter avec nous chaque matin. Malgré une des semaines les plus chaudes de l'été, nous avons vécus des moments inoubliables, et espérons avoir apporté de la joie et des beaux souvenirs à ces enfants qui viennent de loin, ont traversé dans grandes difficultés, et ont parfois perdu un peu d'innocence durant leur trajet migratoire. Le Pont sera là l'année prochaine pour un nouveau camp de jour ! "L'année prochaine je veux un camp qui va durer 30 ans ! Euh, 30 jours !" - Retal, 9 ans

distribution de chocolats de pâques et de sacs d'école aux familles du pont

Nous avons eu une chance incroyable de pouvoir distribuer des sacs d'école pleins  et des œufs de Pâques en chocolat à une centaine d'enfants du Pont !

Notre projet scolaire à été subventionné par la Fondation du Grand Montréal dans cette période difficile pour nos familles.
